A1531D
This guitar sold for $1,249 in August 2011. Even though there's some damage to the body and modifications to the bridge, there is a lot of extra value in the JB pickup. These would also be original Grover tuners, not replacements as suggested by the seller.
"1970 Dan Armstrong Lucite guitar, serial #A1531D. The original tuning gears have been replaced with Grovers, there is a cap missing from one of the tuners the bridge plate has been modified to accomodate intonatable bridge saddles. The back of the quarter-sawn maple neck has been lightly sanded to remove the lacquer as the owner found it to be sticky. Additional pickup that came with it is included. Pickup codes are R T and J B. There is a quarter sized eliptical shaped piece of lucite that was popped out behind the 1/4" jack that can be cemented back in. Guitar plays and sounds great. Includes hard case, not sure if case is original, has duct tape around edges. Priced to move."
