It never hurts to put an attractive girl in front of anything if you want to sell it, but this Dan Armstrong guitar and pickup assortment is mouth watering enough on its own. No less than 5 pickups, including the desirable ST and very rare JT and JB, as well as the stock RT and CB options. How often do you see even one Jazz pickup let alone both? The guitar itself looks to be in super shape and comes with its original Dan Armstrong case. Unfortunately, the $5,995 asking price in June 2011 proved to be too high and we don't have a record of a sale being completed on eBay. So perhaps this one's still out there, the holy grail of pickup sets and a hot brunette besides...

After four years in hibernation, A2318D is back on the market with the same set of 5 pickups. Asking price is $4,600. Careful observers will note that the pic of the back of the guitar is actually that of a DA bass...go figure.
