This guitar came on the market in September 2011, received 13 bids, and sold for $2,525. Good pickup combination of RB and CB and comes with an original Dan Armstrong hard case.
"Vintage Dan Armstrong 1970-1971 up for auction in super condition with two pick-ups included with sale. The guitar was rarely used as you can see in the photographs and almost no play wear to the fingerboard and back of the neck. The original CB and RB pick-ups are included with the sale but the pick-up set screw is missing. Should not be hard to find. Pick guard has no chips or cracking at the jax and this guitar comes with Schaller tuners which are super nice. Comes with the original black case that has some age with cuts and scratches and a nice black lining inside. Serial # A2712D. email with any questions. shipping based on your location...Good Luck"
Now it's February 2012 and the same guitar is back on the market with the same seller. So did it sell last year or not? This time the market is much weaker, and after listing it with no bids at $3,000 it finally goes for $1,525 a couple weeks later. That will turn out to be a nice price for someone given the good condition, OEM case and extra RB pickup.
