This guitar came up for auction in September 2013 as part of a liquidation of a large guitar collection based in Australia. The A782D serial number dates it to 1969, and the guitar comes with an installed CB pickup and a second pickup in the case. Unfortunately, the guitar has gone through at least one if not two changes of tuners, which you can see from the plugged holes in the back of the headstock. It also looks like the pickup thumb screw has gone missing. Of note, a prior owner placed a sticker under the pickguard, which is visible from the back of the guitar through the Lucite. "I'm a Dan Fan." We're DA fans too and this is a fun bit of memorabilia.
