Another guitar coming up on Reverb in July 2015 with an asking price of $4,250. Kind of a time capsule - look at all the original brochures, extra bridges and even the key to the case. Pickup was confirmed by the seller as a Country Bass (CB) single coil, which would have been original to the guitar.

"Serial A975D dates this to 1969. Probably one of the most pristine examples around in excellent condition. Original Ess & Ess case in excellent condition with case key. All of the case candy. Two extra bridges. The only pickup is the one installed ; it does have some staining, looks like maybe light spray paint . Neck has no flaws. Frets in excellent condition.
I did fabricate a balsa wood shim under the bridge as the action was too low and I didn't want to use the other bridges. The guitar never left my house." |
