This guitar came up for auction in November 2011 and ended up selling for $2,020. It's obviously had the bridge changed out to a Gibson Nashville-style unit, and the guitar comes with an original RT pickup and aftermarket MD. Will ship in a non-original hard shell case.
"A VERY RARE ORIGINAL 1960'S DAN ARMSTRONG PLEXI GUITAR IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.THIS IS THE SAME MODEL THAT KEITH RICHARDS FAMOUSLY USED.THE GUITAR IS IN FULL WORKING CONDITION AND SOUNDS AMAZING AND COMES With two interchangeable pickups.THIS IS A VERY RARE GUITAR AND IS HIGHLY COLLECTABLE AND THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE. THE PLEXI BODY IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR DENTS OR BAD SCRATCHES.THE SCRATCHPLATE HAS SOME WEAR AROUND THE WRITING SO PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES. THE NECK IS STRAIGHT AND TRUE AND THE ACTION IS NICE AND LOW. THIS IS AN A SERIAL NUMBER, SO I GUESS IT'S FROM THE FIRST YEAR OF PRODUCTION. I DON'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL CASE BUT IT WILL SHIP IN A NICE VINTAGE HARD SHELL CASE"
