Black Fretless II
We were unable to get a serial number for this bass, so for now we're just going to call it "Black Fretless II" until it surfaces again. Regardless, it seems to be a really nice example. Seller's description is quite accurate - toward the end of 1971 Ampeg did a special run of fretless basses, of which a number were done with black appointments and ebony fretboard. It's a stunning look, and such a shame that Ampeg didn't carry the concept over to the guitar line. Comes with correct second-generation OEM case.
