D1042A
This one came up on eBay in September 2013 with an initial asking price of $1,600. Seems to be in very nice overall condition, with the exception of some cracking and flaking on top of the pickup, which is sometimes typical, Comes with gig bag.

Back again on the auction market in December 2013, this time with an initial asking price of $1,595. Serial number is a bit hard to see, but the seller confirmed it as D1042A. Now comes with an aftermarket case, which seems to fit well. Still a nice example, but the original bridge saddle has been swapped out for a newer one. Here's the latest description:

"Here is an original (NOT A REISSUE) Ampeg Dan Armstrong bass guitar from 1969/70 era. Excellent condition for its age with some flaking on the pickup - otherwise very clean with minimal signs of use. Has roundwound strings installed. No cracks, breaks, or repairs and the neck is straight. Bridge is original, but there is a custom made piece that the strings rest on for perfect intonation. Hard case pictured also included."
