D1500A
This one came up in a November 2015 Craigslist ad (Thousand Oaks, CA). Seems to be all there, with the exception of the changed tuners. Possibly comes with the OEM case, but could refer to just another vintage case.
"I am selling my vintage Dan Armstrong bass from the late 1960's. An absolute antique and wonderful collector's item. The bass is fully functional and has all original parts + new strings! Priced to move at $2500 OBO."
"The only numbers I see on the bass are: D1500A. That may refer to the series number. The bass comes with the original molded hardshell case. I do not currently have a picture of the case on my phone. I've owned the bass for about 45 years and have taken amazing care of it. Aside from minor playing marks, the bass is pristine. Please call me at your earliest convenience to discuss - Zach." |
