These bridge plate screws came up for sale in June 2011 and were offered at only $10. Interestingly, nobody bought them, which makes you wonder what people are using to hold down all the bridge plates they buy. |

These OEM bridge saddles came up for auction in July 2011. The plain saddle sold for $62 and the later saddle with fret wire sold for $72. These are very hard to find parts.

These saddles came up for sale in September 2011. The plain bridge saddle was said to be the high one for slide, and sold for $45. The later saddle with fret was said to be medium height and sold for $42.

This bridge and saddle assembly sold for $93 in July 2012. Parts came from A2160D, which was being parted out.

This bridge saddle was another item from A2160D, and sold for $86 in July 2012. I'm assuming this was either the medium or high bridge, since the low bridge would likely have been the one actually being used on the guitar above.

I can't remember what they were asking for this bridge plate back in November 2012, but I don't think it sold. And you kind of have to wonder what guys are doing with all these bridge plates anyway. Are they being used to convert Dan Armstrong guitars back from strat-style bridges? That seems very unlikely given all the routing and drilling that goes into one of those conversions. Or are the bridge plates being used by custom builders for something else entirely?

This bridge & saddle combo looks to be in nice condition and benefits from a set of nice clear pictures. The asking price was high though at $199 in April 2013 and I don't think it sold.

This bridge plate was first listed in July 2013 at $89.95, then $69.95, then $59.95. Finally sold for $39.95 on September 4, 2013. Seller said "Very rare original 1970 Dan Armstrong Ampeg bridge (there is a very slight bend in it)." |

This OEM bridge plate for a bass came up for sale in 2014 with an asking price of $50. Went through several successive auctions without finding a buyer.

This looks to be the "high" bridge saddle, which nobody really uses but makes a nice piece of case candy. Sold for $95 in October 2014.

Looks like the seller just wanted to clean out a parts box, because this April 2015 listing included a Fender-style neck plate, Gibson switch tip, and two OEM Dan Armstrong bridge saddles. We were able to confirm that these were genuine vintage DA rosewood saddles with the brass locator pin on the bottom. The whole package went for $52, which is a steal even if you ascribe zero value to the rest of the stuff.

This lot of 6 bridge saddles came up on eBay in March 2016 and quickly sold for the $60 asking price. Interesting that the saddles are drilled for the locating pins, but no pins were ever inserted. Still, a good buy at only $10/each. |

This bridge plate sold on Ebay for $35 on April 30, 2017. Looks to be the earlier version with relatively short slots for the string ends.
