This RB pickup was originally part of A406D, one of eight Dan Armstrongs produced in black plexiglas. For whatever reason, a prior owner decided to sell the guitar (with a CB) separately from the sale of the extra RB and ST pickups. We bought the ST and RB. Note the spacing nut glued to the bottom of this pickup, which seems to be a feature of the black guitars.

RB pickups sound great but are hard to find. This one came on the market in April 2012 and sold for $326. Note the label on the side of the pickup - this feature indicates a very early pickup and makes the whole thing even more desirable. |
