This ST Pickup sold for $400 in a private sale in March 2011. Note the cracking along the bottom, which is often typical of an ST due to the way the pickup is constructed. Take a look at how close the bottom chassis plate is to the outside of the pickup. This leaves just a veneer of epoxy on the bottom, which is prone to cracking. But that's cosmetic and so far all the pieces seem to be holding together. |

This ST sold on eBay for $537 in November 2011. Again, note the cracking on the bottom, but fairly minor in this one and didn't affect the final value. |

Geez this one's in super shape and sold for just $331 in March 2012. That was a good deal on these hard-to-find pickups, especially considering the condition. |

This pickup came out of A2160D, a guitar that was eventually parted out in a series of individual auctions. Sold for $415 in June 2012, condition looks to be pretty good. |

This one sold instantaneously on eBay for only $229 in November 2012, which is not surprising given the typical $400+ price for these things. Looks to be in excellent condition too... |

Yup, barely two weeks later, the guy that buys the above pickup for $229 quickly flips it in a new auction for $499. A textbook example of DA parts arbitrage... |

Here's another ST sale in December 2012, selling for $295. Again, that will prove to be a very fair price for the buyer given the typical $400 ST price tag. |

This ST came on the market in March 2014 with an initial asking price of $425, but was withdrawn from sale before any bids took place. Given that this example is in excellent condition without the typical cracking on the bottom, it seems likely that it would have sold for at least the $425 asking price.

This ST pickup came up for sale on Reverb in July 2015 with an asking price of $595. Interesting that the box - valuable in itself - is for a Rock Treble pickup. Stay tuned... |

This ST came up for sale in March 2016 and ultimately sold for $299 in April. While the pickup seems intact, note the unusual scoring to the potting material on the sides and back. |

This ST pickup came up on Ebay in August 2016 and appears to have quickly sold for $495 using buy-it-now. This looks like the same pickup and box that was on the market a year ago at $595 on Reverb.

This black ST pickup was originally part of A406D, one of eight Dan Armstrongs manufactured in black plexiglas. For some reason, a prior owner decided to sell the ST and a companion RB separately from the guitar (which also had a CB). We bought the ST and RB in a private sale in February 2009.
