Although I didn't need it at the time, and still haven't had a need for it, I bought this truss rod cover in July 2012 for $15, precisely because it came with the OEM screws. This was one of the items being parted out from A2160D.

This truss rod cover went up for auction in November 2012, but I don't have a record of what the seller wanted for it or the final sale price.

This is one of several bass truss rod covers that a guy was selling on Ebay in 2015. Don't know if the bass cover is the same as the guitar cover, don't own a DA bass, and the odds of buying one down the road with a missing cover are slim. But with the thought that the time to buy parts is when you see 'em, the $17.99 purchase price seemed like a good insurance policy. |
