This guitar is a collectors Item and other Rock-in Roll bands such as Rolling Stones and Georgia Satellites have used similar Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite guitars. Here's the response to an e-mail regarding the serial number. Hi Scott, I had my Uncle Mike finally find and tell me what the serial number was and he said it was A2003 followed by an offset D. So I looked it up and apparently he bought this in 1970 not 1968 or 1969 like he thought. Anyway he had the bridge fixed and a couple of the tuning keys.
