A1588D
The vintage guitar department of Guitar Center in Manhattan was offering this one in September 2011 for $2,100. "So this guitar is in decent shape. The frets are a little flat, there's some white residue on the pickup. The pickguard is in great shape. The original case is included, I'd put its condition at a 6 out of 10. The one unusual thing is that a second pickup is included in the case, but it's a single coil. So this guitar comes with 2 single coils and no humbucker. Serial number is A1588D."
Overall this guitar looks to be in nice shape. And while the volume and control knobs aren't original, I kind of like the retro look of the black plastic, could be an interesting idea for the future. Also note that this was one of the very last guitars produced with the original wiring spec.
