D2185A
This nice bass came up for sale in March 2014 with an asking price of $2,200. Here's what the seller had to say...
"1970 Dan Armstrong Clear Lucite Electric Bass. Serial number D2185A. Acrylic Lucite clear body. No neck or headstock breaks or cracks. Nice fretboard and maple neck. Overall in great shape. Has the coil toggle switch. Comes with two extra wooden bridge pieces. Only ding on the body is a small "x" as shown in the last picture on the upper left horn. Comes with the original hardshell case which shows some wear as expected. Overall the case is very solid. I am the second owner of this bass and have owned it for over 10 years."

So here's the same bass coming back on the market (from a different seller) in April 2014, with a much more reasonable asking price of $1,300. Here's the latest description...
"For auction is an original 1960's Dan Armstrong clear Lucite/Perspex/Plexiglass Bass. All original, and plays like a dream. All of the electronics work perfectly. There are no nicks or dings, and the pickguard is also in excellent condition, with no cracks or shrinkage. The chrome is a bit tarnished around the jack, and the bass has a few minor scuffs, as you'd expect after 50 years, but all can be polished out easily - I'll leave that to the buyer. (The two colors that you see on the saddle are actually the colors of the saddle wood itself. The saddle is in perfect condition). The case is original, and has a replaced handle firmly attached."
