This heavily modified Dan Armstrong bass came up for auction in August 2015 and sold for $670. We were able to confirm via e-mail that the serial number is D605A, which places it earlier in the production run, perhaps 1969. Replaced electronics, pickguard, tuner, bridge, and truss rod cover.
